Peach picking!

Peach season has arrived! And I think my boys are happy it didn't last long. Matt and I both like peaches, the boys...not so much. They liked picking the the peaches at Snepf Farms. They liked seeing and feeding some animals, Porter liked running around in the mud, they liked the train ride, too. But as soon as I bought them a fresh slice of homemade peach pie they spit it out so quick you would have thought I was trying to poison them. - complete with gagging sounds and tongue scratching to make sure all remnants of peach were out of their mouths. So, 22 lbs of peaches rode home with us and only two of us were going to partake of that goodness.  Eating 22 lbs. of freshly picked, ripe peaches is no easy task. I had to get out the jam making supplies, the ice cream maker and lots of Popsicle mold. Eventually we made it through. I was tempted to get some more but we will, for now, call it good for peach season.
