To start out the Easter "season" we went to the Mesa Easter pageant. It was a spectacular performance about Christ's life here on earth and the sacrifice he lovingly gave on our behalf. Sitting next to the beautiful Mesa temple and watching the pageant with my beautiful family was so tender for me. I love these little people in my life and I am grateful they are mine!
Easter and general conference were the same weekend this year. Although I do not get a lot of sit down and watch conference time with our two rowdy little boys, I was surprised how well they did on Sunday and they listened to a good amount. I am very happy that I am able to listen to the wonderful talks later on my phone so I can reflect on them more. I am always amazed at how much I can rely on their wisdom and knowledge to help me in my day to day circumstances. What a great Easter weekend!
As not to be too spiritual but also allow the kids to have some fun, we did dye eggs with my sister and her girls and we did take the boys to an Easter egg hunt - only later to find out our neighborhood had one that was tons better than the over crowded crazy one we ended up at.
I love this time of year! Springtime, flowers, remembering our saviors sacrifice, and lots of jelly beans! It doesn't get much better than this!
