Preston is now 7

It sounds weird.  I feel like it's not even possible, but, I am now the mother to a 7 year old.  We celebrated his birthday with the requested Avenger Ice Cream cake.  I was very happy that he chose something easy, because this mom was still suffering from some serious jet lag and I thought I was going to pass out of exhaustion just thinking about the task of birthday cake making.  Preston is still completely in love with lego's.  I kept asking and asking him if their was anything besides legos that he wanted.  It usually was a quick no.  We spent the day building building lego's and playing together as a family.

We had the surprise of having Grandma and Papa Farnsworth in town for the birthday celebrations so the party was even better than expected.  Preston has been completely in love with chicken wings lately - and my goodness can he eat a ton of them!  So, for this little wing lover we had chicken wings at the party. 

He loved having his grandma and papa and his cousins celebrate with him.  We played some baseball and dug in the sand until the sun went down.

Preston is not the easiest child to raise.  He likes to push us all to our limits.  But when I see that smile of his, somehow I forget the heartache he causes me.  His smile and giggle can make you forget what you are frustrated with and just makes you want to play with such an adorable little guy. He is extremely social and  loves playing with his friends - anyone willing to entertain him his best buddy!
