December events:
Preston's Preschool Christmas program.
Preston was one of the shepherds in the program and he played his part very well. When he took to the stage he had a major case of the giggles and for some reason (a good thing) could not stop smiling and giggling as he walked to his seat.
Christmas morning.
Matt and I had to wake Preston up at 7 to open presents. Of all mornings my little up at the crack of dawn boy chooses Christmas morning to be his one sleep in morning. Preston asked Santa for a "Hello Go-Go McQueen" this year. And worked hard (hmmm?) at being a good boy so that Santa would bring it to him. Although, every time he saw a commercial for any toy he would tell me he wanted that toy and the "hello go-go McQueen". It looks like Preston was on the Nice list this year and he did get what he asked for. My favorite thing about Christmas morning was Preston's reaction to the pile of presents that Santa brought him. When he saw the pile of presents he was more concerned with not being able to to say thank you to Santa. In his words, "no me tank-you clause". What a good little boy he is.
And now we get ready for the big day. Tomorrow baby boy Field #2 will arrive and our lives will change forever.
