This winter seems like it has gone on forever. The house is not entertaining enough for 2 rambunctious little ones and the furniture has taken some love because of the bottled up energy. Arkansas has experienced a very cold and very long winter. It has been the coldest winter in the 3 years we have been here, with lots of snow fall, ice, and a lot of school cancellations. Once and a while we will get our 60 degree day that seems to go by way too fast and they boys want to stay outside for every minute of it. It is time for Mr. Sun to start shining and warming up this place.
In January Matt and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary!!! WHAT! I honestly do not know where the time has gone, but I also feel like we have done so much in that 10 years. We have traveled - and hope to travel a lot more, we have our 2 handsome little boys, and we have have lived in 3 states (that is not very much coming from our family background). It has been a great 10 years, and I am so happy to be with Matt forever.
Preston celebrated valentines day pretty much from January 1- February 14. He would color pictures, write notes, and make cards and art for everyone he could. Just about every day he would take a picture over to our neighbor friend and say "happy valentine's day". His school teacher has a wall that is filled with Preston's gifts to her, and I would be broke if I sent all the little cutout's that he wants me to send to everyone. It makes me smile seeing him make all these things for people. He really is a thoughtful little boy, and always wants to give people gifts and cards to make them happy.

Matt made us a very "hearty" (hehe) breakfast. Sort of a Valentine's tradition. And then I gave the boys balloons that shared why I love them. I do this every year but this year when I read them to Preston he had this massive grin in his face and he kept asking me to read them again and again until he had them all memorized.

I attempted Potty training this past week, which is always something I dread. And now I dislike it even more. I think I would rather birth triplets than potty train - but then I would have to potty train them so, not a very good example. Well we failed miserably. The interesting thing is he was showing more signs than Preston ever did and he even stays dry at night while wearing underwear. But everything else was a disaster. Preston was a potty training dream compared to this horrific event. I have no idea if I will ever get up the courage to attempt this again. Total mom fail. But his butt is so adorable in those big boy pants.
Now the only thing I can focus on is our cruise in March. Matt surprised me with it for our anniversary and I can not wait for it. 8 days away while my kids are having a little vacation with their grandma. It's a win win for us all - except maybe grandma. I don't think she is fully aware of what she signed up to do.

Some v-day dessert. The cake was still warm because gooey warm chocolate cake with coconut chocolate frosting melting off of it is pretty much my ultimate dessert. |

fun times with the neighbors. Preston only has friends that are younger or older nobody his age. And very much a ladie's man ;) |

Grandma Field sent woopee coushins for valentine's day. I had two days of non-stop fart sounds and massive amounts of giggles. |

Super cute pictures, as always, Amy! I am looking forward to my "vacation" with those two crazy cuties. I'm glad the whoopie cushions provided a few giggles - little boys and fart noises are a natural combination!
These are some of my all time favorite pictures. You're getting really really good!
