This year we participated the the 1st annual Hershey's Easter Egg hunt with about the entire state of Arkansas in attendance. Preston was a little overwhelmed by all the children but we were able to get him some prizes. The night before and the morning of the big event Matt was training Preston on how to hunt for eggs. I really wish I had this on camera because the method is 1. you got to run and scan, run and scan. While you are running you have always keep your eyes out for an egg. Matt held several trial runs with a couple of eggs from home. 2. You have to be fast. Think of all the kids Preston, they are after your eggs so you have to grab it fast. Matt had Preston doing some running exercises for this one. and 3. if they get in your way you push them down. (probably a technique that landed him in his room for all Field Family Egg Hunts.) Matt even wanted to do some running exercises while we were at the hunt waiting for Preston's turn. While Preston has the running part down, he has not yet mastered the scanning for eggs or the grabbing them fast skills. Maybe next year.

| Unfortunately, we only were able to do one Egg hunt because for the rest of the week and on Easter we had nonstop pouring rain. We actually had a lake in our backyard and the streets were like rivers. |

Haha - hilarious post! It is too bad that you didn't get the egg hunt training captured on video, but it's okay, because I can imagine it in vivid detail.

That egg hunt was fun! We saw you guys walk by, but didn't get to say hi. There were so many people!
