I can't believe it has been so long since I posted something about our lives. I didn't think a whole lot has been going on and then I looked at my camera to see if I needed to load some pictures and realized we have been busy this past month. For starters, Matt passed the long drawn out series of tests for his CPA license and is now officially a CPA. I am so proud of him for doing this. I know there is no way I could have achieved this and as usual I am in awe of what he can accomplish.

We went to the Wasatch County ever so popular Demolition Derby a couple of weeks ago. They are fun but very long and at times boring because the action only lasts for a couple of minutes and then it is track grooming for 20 minutes and so on. Preston liked the crashing and since most of the people who compete in the derby all live around us Preston gets excited to see the derby cars when we go on walks. I find it strange that he recognizes them.

We also went to the Rodeo this past week and enjoyed cringing every time the horses bucked off the rider and almost stepped on them. I have to give those guys credit, I would never do what they do. Preston was not very interested in seeing the animals from a distance so I spent most of the time with Preston right in the corrals nervous as can be when Preston is trying to get the bull's or the big angry horses attention.

come here Mr. Bull. I won't hurt you.ON another note. Preston is obsessed with cars at the moment and this is what I find all over the house. Everyday I am stepping on some sort of car line. It usually ends up with Preston acting as if I destroyed a masterpiece as he puts his hand to his mouth and says in a very sad tone, "oohh". How can I get mad with him for leaving his toys out when he acts as if they are art. Plus he thinks these cars are his babies. Notice the big purple tow truck and the little purple tow truck. Well they are exactly the same and Preston thinks that is the most amazing thing. He has a couple of the big sized cars but only the tow truck is allowed in his collection because it matches the little one. And they always have to be lined up by each other. These were Matt Micro Machines from when he was little. Preston loves to play with them but they have been taken away for a while until he can learn some responsibility and stop losing all of them, and putting them in his mouth. Sorry Preston but maybe in a year or so.

Last but certainly not least. Matt had some custom built training wheels put on Preston's motorcycle. Now Preston rides his motorcycle everyday. We go around the block everyday and he gets a little better every time at not stopping for every little bug that he sees. I think it is so cute to watch him ride. I also will find him in the garage making motorcycle sounds with his helmet on just sitting on his bike.
