I must be a genius

I don't know maybe someone out there in the world has already come up with this idea but this was my very own concoction of 2 very yummy ingredients. In all my cooking magazines I keep seeing Strawberry Rhubarb _____. All these desserts I already have so many magazine pictures of desserts I want to make, not to mention it was early morning. So after staring at this recipe for strawberry rhubarb beatty a light bulb came on and I thought I wonder if I could make strawberry rhubarb muffins for breakfast.


Here they are. And they were oh so delicious. I added the candied almonds on top with the streusel because I had them in my pantry just screaming at me to be used. I thought they added such a yummy taste I don't think I will ever leave them out.

Yummmmm! Did you write the recipe down? And are you willing to share (the recipe - not the muffins). If so, I would love to have it!

I second Mom's request for the recipe--I'm going to the farmer's market this weekend, and I definitely need to get some strawberries and rhubarb now! Unlike Mom, however, I am also putting in a request for the muffins themselves next time I visit :-)
