Matt had ear surgery last Thursday and is now in recovery mode. I wanted to show a picture of what it looked like but he has completely refused. His ear is healing, but it still pokes out a little and they took skin from his little ear flappy thing that attaches by your cheek bone. They took the tip of it so now he has a nub for a flappy. It doesn't look obvious but I can tell. Matt is doing fine; although, he tries to make it seem like he is near death and needs every ounce of my attention. For a while I babied him but I am now to the point where I think he is going to make it. So he is now left to fend for himself while I slave away at work. Someone in this family has to make a living while the other lounges in the pool sipping lemonade without a care in the world. ;)
Some other exciting news...Matt and I are going to Italy!!! I am so excited; it is a dream come true. We leave on October 18th and spend 12 days traveling all the wonderful sites. Hip Hip Hooray.
