Well, it's been a while since we have posted anything so I thought I would give a quick update on some things.
Matt is completely done with MBA school and he couldn't be happier. HURRAY! he finished a couple weeks ago and had convinced people at work to call him "Master Matt" he thinks he deserves that title for some reason. He is not completely tired of school though. He signed up with Penn Foster to take an online motorcycle mechanics class to help him be a better motorcycle mechanic. Don't you worry, this Accounting major with an MBA background was able to get himself a scholarship. Yep, I guess they were having a 20% off tuition the day he signed up. (He is calling this a scholarship) and that was his reasoning for why he signed up. When he finishes maybe we will have a sweet lawn mower like Tim Allen on Tool Time. I can hardly wait! Matt has also received a new calling in our ward. I guess they were questioning his teaching abilities and the corruption he would cause with the youth of the church. He is now 1st counselor in the Elders Quorum.
And for me. Nothing really exciting for me. For the first time in 3 years Matt and I are home together every night. It's nice, but now I lost my excuse for going shopping. I'm still chugging away and teaching the primary kids the songs for the year. AND actually for the first time we sang a song all the way through in Junior Primary. They WERE paying attention. They sing Love Is Spoken Here so wonderfully. I will only have to sing 8 solos instead of 9 now for the program. It's going to be great. I've learned that they remember actions so during the program the juniors are going to be moving their hands all over the place when they sing, whatever it takes I guess.

Amy, that post was hilarious! I laughed out loud about 5 different times. Tell Matt I say congratulations on his scholarship--finally, someone is recognizing and rewarding his brilliance! And sorry about the shopping . . . that's rough. Jeff always works nights, so I WOULD go shopping then, but he always has the car, so I'm just trapped at home instead :-( Good luck with your solos!
I am so excited you finally posted I love to read your post's.I can see you now leading the junior primary, mabey someday the tabernacle choir, just kiddin. Sounds like your having fun though.
