Trik-a-thon and brotherly silliness

Preston participated in his school's trike-a-thon for St. Judes children hospital.  He misunderstood and thought the whole thing was a race.  He thinks he won and is fully expecting a medal.  He did his laps on his strider bike and his little legs were moving and he was having a good time showing off his bike skills.

Preston has ridden his bike so hard lately that he actually exploded the wheel bearings.  We are currently in the process of picking out and ordering a new bike for him.  A PEDAL BIKE!  I can't wait for him to see it!

Preston is also becoming quite fond of his little tag-a-long brother.  Porter can't really move but Preston finds him very entertaining - more like a toy type of entertaining.  He decorates him with stickers, he likes to sit as close as possible to him and sometimes tries to steam roll him.  Porter likes him, but I think he sometimes I think he wishes his brother would not pester him so much.

Preston mailed a picture to his grandma.  He was so proud of it.  He wanted to put it into the mailbox himself and then he sat and waited for the mailman to come.  It was so adorable to watch him be so excited.  I am so happy that he loves his Em-ma's so much.

And for the biggest news EVER in all Preston history of big news.  Look at this picture!!!  I think this is the very first time in his existance that he is playing by himself.  I came upstairs wondering where Preston was because it had been so quiet.  There he was just playing.  I hope this catches on.  (one can only wish)

3.21.12...Preston's 4h Birthday

My little boy is not so little anymore.  Preston turned 4 today and it makes me sad.
Preston age 3 moments:
A breakthrough with speech. He now can carry on conversations and they are quite entertaining.  Some of my favorite phrases include: "no me know, mom" "prise mom (surprise)" "no me potty, just dancing (as his potty dance turns into some serious dancing)" "Superman saves the day" "oh,Tank you mommy"
We flopped at the whole swim lessons.  I would watch him clinging to the edge screaming for me for 2 months.  And we all know that it was his stubbornness because he hates doing anything that he is told to do.  He just wanted to play with the toys and NOT kick his legs.
Preston LOVES cars.  And not just any cars. Cars 2 cars.  He carries them everywhere, i even have to pack them up in the car if we ever leave.
Recently obsessed with superman, which he has never even seen so it proves that boys are wired to be superhero obsessed before birth.

Lego's are a new obsession.  Preston builds very elaborate cars and airplanes that for some reason I just never can get it right.

Preston still loves to ride his "lellow vroom" as much as possible and is very fast on it.  We have tried to upgrade his ride but he is very attached and refuses to get a new one.

Preston thinks that momma's kisses are the most magical things ever.  They can literally heal anything. If he gets any sort of owey it is instantly healed by mom's magical kiss.

Did you know that Superman uses a gun when his laser vision is not working.
Preston's Dinner choice: Yoho's (waffles or pancakes) with lots and lots of berries.

We love our big boy Preston!
