organized it (thanks to Matt's handy work ;) ) and we can actually fit one of the two cars in it now. Matt also showed off his handy-man skills by building me a shelf for our laundry room. It is s
o nice; however, his reachable height and my reachable height are two very different things. Now I need him to build me a step stool to reach the things on the shelf. At least they are all organized though. The clutter was literally driving me mad.
While my mother-in-law was in town a couple of weeks ago she helped me make some roman
shades. I thought I would take a picture of those and show them off. She did most of the work. I was in charge of ironing. Although, the striped red ones I sewed the pockets for the dowels all by myself. The lines are
almost completely straight. (she did have to unstich them and resew them though...but it wasn't because of my sewing, there was a slight measuring miscalculation.) I feel like I can sew anything now. I even offered Lisa (my sister) to fix the twins dress up clothes. She declined however. Maybe after some more practice. Matt's race. Also known as the Cow Dung Race (I am serious. That is the name of the race).Dusty, dusty, dusty. Matt and his brother Jake had a desert race last week and Matt did fairly well (energy wise) on this one. Because of some course technicalities they do not know the results but Matt didn't look like he was going to die after the first lap like he did on the last race and that to me means he did better than the last race. The pictures are after he finished.
Last of all, I thought I would show off a picture of the cake I did for my sister-in-laws wedding. It was so fun making this cake and I loved how it turned out.
